The fire is an offering to the Shiva Lingam, a sacred stone, which is said to intensify the vitality and level of energy within your body. The Shiva Lingam stone represents harmony and balance, and facilitates the union of opposites, such as masculine and feminine or body and soul within each of us. This symbolism is featured throughout SE Asia in ancient sacred spaces. The Shiva Lingam represent what most religions have at their core: an inward focus and rising prana.
