This site contains the world’s largest book. Each of the 700+ stone-inscription temples pictured in white beyond the lotus flowers contain marble slabs inscribed on both sides with a page of text from the Tipitaka, of Theravada Buddhism. The pink lotus flower represents the history and historical legends of Buddha. The lotus flower can represent the purification of the spirit, which is born in murkiness. Just like the lotus we too have the ability to rise from the mud, bloom out of the darkness and radiate into the world.
